We are pleased to send over our final report to Older People’s Commissioner for Wales documenting the lived experiences of older people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in Wales.
The lived experiences of older people remain mostly un-evidenced and without this evidence the concerns affecting their lives are rendered invisible. Our report to the Commissioner highlights the issues and challenges that are being faced by older people as well as the positive experiences of growing older in Wales.
Thank you Theresa Ofure Ogbekhiulu and your team members Comfort Obaje
Chidalu Oluoma, Mariam Afolabi, Tolulope Olaleye, Dr. Kelechi Ronald Ikpe, Shittu Juwon Shodipe Lynn Matthews and Olamire Dabor for delivering the project.
We thank the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales for allowing us to leverage on our strong community connections with older people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities by facilitating engagement and documenting their lived experience in Swansea.
