About the Event
Nature and Us involves the people of Wales in a national conversation about the natural environment. The aim is to develop a shared vision for the year 2050 and consider the changes we need to make leading up to 2030 and 2050, as individuals and as a country.
Nature and Us wants to encourage people to think about the environment they would like to see in the future – and leave behind for future generations. We want to know how people feel about nature and how they would like society’s relationship with nature to change. We also want to help people think about the changes we all can adopt ourselves to protect nature and the environment.
Launched on 17th February and lasting for 10 weeks, people across Wales had the opportunity to complete a Nature and Us survey, join interactive webinars, and volunteer for online focus groups. A series of stakeholder workshops were also held in March and April. The Share my Vision page, where you can share messages, poetry, images and videos, remains live on this website.
The team behind Nature and Us has reviewed the findings of the national conversation and prepared two documents that explain the way which the project was undertaken and provide a detailed report on the findings of the national conversation. These reports can be downloaded here:
